Directions: Drama: Location Recce

When decided what locations I want to use for my drama piece, I looked into what locations were used in the original series scenes. The first scene takes place in a location that looks to be near an abandoned building, I however could not find any locations like this around the Medway area so I have decided that I will be filming in the woods, the location is similar to the original. I wanted to keep this scene simple and I found that filming in the woods will do this, the two characters can interact without any interruptions. The scene is also filmed at night and I found that, that would be a little hard so I have decided to film in the evening when there is still some natural light but it doesnt make it to bright if I were too filming during the day. The second location that is used is the park in the second scene, I have decided that I will stick to the original location and film in a park, I have found many parks that I think would be a good place to film and have narrowed it down to one park that I would like to film at, this scene is going to be filmed throughout the day. The last location I have quite figured out where that will be filmed, I want to try and keep it close to the original scene but that is proving to be harder than I thought, I have tried to find some places that are similar to the room, but I think I am going to have to steer away from that location completely. Instead I was thinking about filming in a basement instead as that seems to be the closest thing to the original location, the basement lets off as a cold, isolated room and that is what the location in the last scene lets off and I wanted to try and keep that sense in my drama.
